This activity invites pupils to collect data from their classmates. The collection is completed through interviews. The ‘Special Data’ includes something special about appearance, talents, skills, travels, likes, dislikes, and so on. After the collection of Special Data, pupils share with the whole group.
This activity challenges pupils to work in small groups. Pupils are invited to prepare a treasure chest for the people of the future – the people who will be living in their community 100 years from now. Have pupils describe their community by choosing 10 items to put in their treasure chest. List the items they should be included in their treasure chest to give a complete picture of their community. Give 5 reasons for their choices. Share with the whole class.
